Since the reflection was a problem in photographing the picture, I have included duplicate photos of the same area in the hope of giving you a better idea on the piece.Also the photos did not capture the true vividness of the colors. Item Medium: Oil on glass Artist: Not signed. Age: circa 1920 Condition of art: Original, untouched and unrestored. T is some bubbling of the paint on two of the life boats. The glass has no breaks, chips and cracks. T are a few scratches on the paint. Additional scratches can also be found on the outside glass. (Photos of these have been included.) Thru the ships window and on the iceberg to the right of the smoke stack t is a shiny material showing thru. It appears to be mother of pearl though I am not at all sure what it is. Condition of frame: Fine, original, untouched and unrestored. The varnish on the frame has an alligator appearance. Provenance: Purchased at the estate of a deceased Long Island maritime collector. Size of art: roughly 30 inches by 14 inches. Size of frame: The frame's outside dimensions roughly 32 inches by 16 inches.
