~ ~ ~ Cross Wind Chime ~ ~ ~ This auction is for a lovely wind chime in a combination of pink, purple and white on clear. The holidays are quickly approaching! This would make a unique gift! Each piece is hand crafted in my studio. The art glass is scored and broken, then placed in a kiln and heated to over 1400 degrees to acheive the finished work. The glass is then cooled very slowly (annealed) for strength. The cross is 7" tall and 5" wide. Overall length is 27"(including the hanger). A variety of glass beads have been used to seperate the pieces. It is strung with nylon-coated, stainless steel wire and silver crimps. Wire and crimps for the hanger have been doubled for strength.
