Up for bid is a folk art black man sitting on a painted cigar box. The inside of the box is wooden as well as the inside of the lid. The man is very detailed with a cigar in his mouth and a box of matches in this hands. The top of the box is embossed and says LAROSA CIGARS and the top says Habana. The two ends say Colorado and the back says Habana 50. I do not know what the man or the outside of the box is made of, but it is a hard material. I do not know the age of this item, but it was given to me in 1978. The box with man is 8 inches high, 5 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very brightly colored and detailed. This would be a wonderful item for the tobaccoania, cigar box, or black memorabilia collector.
