Selling this "old" dark amber jar which once contained snuff or smoking tobacco, I believe. It is marked on the bottom: P. Lorillard Co. Has a great looking glass closure inside metal ring. Glass lid is marked: Geo. W. Helme Co. Of New Jersey Patented July 16 1872. Jar stands approx. 6 1/2" tall with lid off and nearly 7" tall with lid on. Lots of bubbles made in the glass. Excellent condition with only a couple of tiny nicks on the rim. Great for display.
