This is a Tom Clark Gnome Collectible figural sculpture titled "The Aviator." 1984, ED #70. is from The True Builder Series and has never been displayed or privately owned. Excellent condition. Measures 12 1/4" x 6 1/2". This Aviator stands tall, seemingly proud of his many accomplishments which were not easy in coming. He holds his helmet in one hand while his flight and duffle bags are at his feet behind him. He's gazing toward the sky as though pondering his many flights and missions and, perhaps, wondering about his retirement, or about just continuing on because the sky truly is the limit and he knows that, and that there are no boundaries in this life. He's dressed in flight gear: Jacket, pants and boots. Colors are brown, tan, cream and muted blue. No box. Would make a unique gift for someone special! Highly collectible! NOTE: We purchased this gnome and others from a store going out of business. They've never been privately owned. Watch for other gnomes going up, also purchased from this same store, all having been stored away for countless years. Many, like this one, are hard to find editions. Some are extremely rare.
