You are bidding on a 1960's slice of Americana! This Tom's Toasted Peanut Jar w/ embossed lid has been in my family for years. We are selling a few of our heirlooms/collectibles to make room to move around in our house. :) We live in Columbus, Georgia. I am thirty years old and have called Columbus my home for all this time. Tom's Peanuts factory is located in Columbus on 10th Avenue. My Dad obtained this jar some thirty or more years ago. It was once used in a local store on the sales counter. "Delicious Tom's Toasted Peanuts ~ An American Tradition" is written on the front of the jar. Also the lid is embossed with the word "Tom's" which makes this a rare find. T are no cracks in this jar or its' lid. The color of the lettering is in great shape. This is an excellent collectors' item! Please ask me any questions before bidding.
