This LP has long been deleted and now we have obtained the last few Very Rare, Brand New, Unplayed and therefore Mint Condition copies left over from the individual Licenser of the ex CD/LP label, Renaissance. The record is in full Stereo. This listing is for one of these copies recorded in London in 1989. This is the last Album made by Tony Crombie and was an opportunity for Tony to set down some of his new compositions and update some old favourites. For the session Tony invited his old friends, some of the greatest names in British Jazz to take part in this great album. Sadly, many of these wonderful musicians including Tony are now playing elsewhere! Unfortunately, when Tony Crombie died, it was from Pancreatic Cancer, which is why we have chosen the above charity in his memory. At least £1 or 10% will be donated from each sale. Artists include, Kenny Baldock, Guy Barker, Gordon Beck, Lennie Bush, Tony Coe, John Critchinson, Tony Dakis, Nigel Hitchcock, Peter King, Ronnie Scott, Stan Sulzman, Johnny Van Derrick et al. Sleeve notes by Benny Green. Tracks Listing: Tango '89, Sophisticated Lady, 12 Note Samba, I Don't Stand a Ghost of a Chance with You, Serenade in Blue, Alison Adamant, Autumn Rustle, Prelude to a Kiss, So Near, So Far, Rabbit Pie, Child of Fancy, Moon Glow, Raising the Temperature, Fallen Bird, Viva Rodriguez. read more
