NEW STOWAWAY WAXING IRON : • New for 2010, 800W Tools4boards Stowaway waxing iron with collapsible handle, available in either 110V or 220V. Waxer features patented hotplate design and temperature control. Good for both skis and snowboards, the patented "Arc" shaped iron plate allows wax to flow to the center of the iron reducing waste and overflow to the sides of the ski or board. This iron is an improved version of our Maplus waxing iron. It has a larger and thicker plate and goes to a higher temperature. A built-in thermostat offers precise and accurate temperature control up to 190 degrees C (320 F). Pilot light illuminates only when temperature is rising. TOOLS4BOARDS PRO 500 SKI VISE: • Our best selling vise! The Pro500 is ideal for base preparation, waxing and edge work. Securely holds any ski both base-up and on its side. Boot is inserted into ski binding automatically retracting ski brake and allowing ski to be locked base-up or rotated to each side without removing the ski from vise. Secure hold on all ski shapes. 3 support points. Made of durable and impact-resistant Lexan polycarbonate plastic. Includes 3 metal C-clamps to securely fasten the vise components to any table or surface with a thickness of 2 1/2 inches or less. Also compatible with Tools4boards Terminator Tuning Stand as shown in photos and sold separately BRIKO MAPLUS UNIVERSAL WAX: • Included in the package is 200 grams of wax (1 x 100 grams Universal Red and 1 x 100 grams Universal Yellow). Maplus high and medium melt-point paraffin glide wax for saturation and protection of ski and snowboard bases. Universal Red is used for snow temperatures of -15 to -5 degrees C and Universal Yellow wax for snow temperatures of -5 to 0 degrees C. The red wax is used as an initial base prep wax when snow temperature is cold or snow is abrasive (ie. man-made snow) or as a first wax after stone grinding base.
