This is a thumbnail specimen of the uncommon Uranium mineral Torbernite (Hydrated Copper Uranyl Phosphate). This specimen is comprised of a patch of green bladed Torbernite crystals on matrix. This specimen measures 1.1 inches by .9 inches by .6 inches. It weighs 7.4 grams. This specimen comes from the Shinkolobwe Mine, Shaba Province , Congo , Africa--a mine that has been officially closed since the 1960's and from whence the majority of the Uranium for the Manhattan Project was obtained . Insurance is included in the Packaging & Handling. I combine shipping with other purchases or auction wins.
