TOULONNAISE wood ship kit Model # SM 12 Scale of this ship is 1:75. She has a Overall length of 665 mm, width of 210 mm and has a Height of 450 mm. This new-old-stock kit is a high quality double plank-on-bulkhead with precut keel and frames, pre-made sails and all high quality metal fittings and accessories, detailed plans and instructions. This unstarted kit is an older version of the current kit and the box shows a little shelf wear. The kit is for Intermediate level builders and contains everything necessary to complete the model. It contains precut wood bulkheads, planking, masts, many brass fittings such as mast feet, trim, rudder hinges, bells, eyebolts, rings, etc. La Toulonnaise, a French schooner was launched in Toulon , France on 13 August 1823; she served in the Spanish war & took part in the bombardment of Cadiz . During a complete overhaul in 1832, the poop deck superstructure was redone, internal and external gunwales, waterways and the planking of the bridges were all replaced.
