The Highly Collectible "MMXV" Series Rollerball Pen, Mfg by TOURNEAU, the Fine Jewelery Chain in New York!We have acquired the remaining stock from their Madison Ave Warehouse!The MMXV is alittle upgrade from the 2001 series, their first pen. One of the upgrades, is the weight. This pen weighs approx. 2 grams more than the 2001, and the size: closed: 5.25 inches, opened/capped= 6.25 inches. Also, the overall coating of the 18k, was redone/re-fabricated, to last much longer.Also, the refills, they converted to strictly a German based ink, i.e. Schmidt, etc. The case was also modified to accommodate more refills.This Pen was made available to American Express Gold Card Members in 1992-1994.It is heavily coated in an 18K Gold Plating, over 5 microns thick!Back in the 90's, this pen was offered for $95-$125, depending on where you purchased it!A Fine, highly black polished Black Resin Pen, with an 18K Gold Plated Cap and Nib.This Pen handles very nicely and it comes in its own gift box.*Note: These pens have been in storage for over 18 years! So, there will be some dust and possible discoloration on the white inside of the box.
