IF you collect toy cap guns you know the American is the Classic of them all ! This is a highly nickel plated cast iron cap gun. Heavily engraved with bear and deer images, rotating cylinder for disc caps, ivory colored grips with diving eagle and American name! Note....images on sides of gun are detailed and not ground down flat like many of these guns. Grips are not cracked or warped. This is the second version with the two piece cylinder. I cannot tell if this gun has been fired. The back of the cylinder does NOT show any hammer marks which means no firing, to me. Gun works perfectly. These often sell in the the $300 range IN THIS CONDITION . My reserve is less....... but not giving this gem away. It seems NO collectors today want to pay for "condition". But that is the heart of the collecting game! IF you only have $150 yoiu might find another gun, but not this one. Upgrade your collection or a must for any new collector!This cap gun is a Toy and cannot be modified to shot anything out of the plugged barrel. Sales only in the US. Per Ebay rules.
