The box was opened and the car removed once to look at it when I first received it. It has been stored ever since in a dry cupboard out of sunlight. I sold my FJ Cruiser, so I decided to sell this model. The box is perfect, and the car is new. The car is secured by 4 screws in the Styrofoam base for protection. You will need to remove the screws to take it out. That is why the picture shows it that way.
