Rare, vintage battery operated tin litho toy car, the Mustang Mach I 'Stunt' car! Made in Japan by TPS Toy Co. in the 1960s. The Mustang features steering and "turn-over" action and it all works perfectly. The roll-over wheel and arm work flawlessly, and it id missing nothing. Requires two "C" batteries and the battery compartment on this car is very, very clean, no corrosion whatsoever! The bright red, yellow, white and blue colors are in very good condition with a nice shine, very minor paint loss as seen in the photos. And the hood opens to reveal the 'all-out' racing engine! The car measures 10 1/2" in length with great graphics on the interior and the exterior of this Stunt car. Both the front plastic windshield and rear window are very nice, no cracks with very few scratches. The infamous TPS logo can be clearly seen through the rear window. All tires are intact, hubcaps need to be repolished as they are somewhat tarnished. Great addition to any collection!
