What began as a hugely successful public art project in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2001 has grown into something that is bringing the art and collectible world together in an entirely new way. Westland giftware, the famous producers of the Cow Parade figurines, brings to the world of collecting the newest Horse collecton. Experience the beauty and wonder of The Trail of Painted Ponies! With Medicine Pony, Sculptor Star Liana York has combined her love and knowledge of people with special relationships to animals by creating a Plains Indian ceremonial horse dressed with a collection of personal objects believed to give the horse's owner power: shields, a lance, a bow, a pipe and assorted amulets and talismans." Medicine Horse is 7" high and made of solid resin. This is brand new and in original box with tags. We will be on vacation from 9/28-10/16. Items purchased between those dates will be sent out priority mail on 10/17-10/20/06. Thank you.
