Original, trifle frayed, red cloth boards, faded to spine and extremities, endpapers spotted else internally very good and clean. Neat name on front pastedown.Spanning more than four hundred years, selections from approximately 150 writers focussed on the Old World, Europe, the Levant and North Africa. A wide-ranging and entertaining anthology, it will also tell you how to comfort a sea-sick stranger in four different languages!
