TRAX DHM-12 and DHM-24 TWO-TONE DIESEL HORN MODULES Bring some extra realism to your layout, ride-on or garden railway, with these easily-installed electronic sound generators. Use it on a layout - the sound can be triggered by the loco-mounted magnet passing over the reed switch (DHM-12 only), or by the supplied push button switch. Use it on a ride-on loco to warn people of your arrival - the 24 volt version is particularly LOUD! (3 watts approx.) Each horn note can be set to high-low or low-high, with a preset duration of a fraction of a second to 3 seconds max. per note. Volume is also fully adjustable, to suit the environment in which the module is used. Add a further 4 ohm speaker for even greater volume if required (total allowable speaker impedance 2 ohms). 12V and 24V versions available - see drop down list to select the version you require. 12V version is suplied with a small reed switch and magnet, for track triggering by loco. Both versions are supplied with a pushbutton switch for panel mounting.
