You are looking at a Traxxas Nitro Hawk! You are looking at an old school Traxxas Nitro Hawk. This was one of the first preassembled kits to come out in the early 1990's. When I first got into the nitro trucks, this is the same model I bought as I didn't want to assemble it. I bought this one some time ago planning on completely restoring it. I haven't gotten around to it and have so many RC projects that I am just going to sell this one. First let me say I have not ran this truck at all or even tried to. The motor looks to be the original Traxxas .12 that they came out with early on. It is a pull start and has good compression (please see video as I have tried to demonstrate the compression). It also has the original AM radio. I put batteries in it and in the truck and everything functioned correctly (again, see video). It looks to be complete except for the battery hold down piece that goes through the two slots on the top of the battery holder. The ballon that was put over the receiver has bascially adhered to the receiver and part of the steering servo that is below the receiver. I pulled a lot of it off to make sure everything works and I think most of it will clean up. It is just cosmetic and doesn't affect the performance of either piece.
