Up for auction is a gold toned WWI era wrist watch guard. Marked on the back: Duo, Pat'd June 23-14 F, and is for a watch that measures 26mm. Used but very good condition. A must have to accent your WWI era wristwatch! Please see photos for details, and if you should have any questions, please feel free to ask. Item will be carefully wrapped and dispatched by first class post as soon as payment is received. I have been advised by a helpful ebayer that; "its not a shrapnel guard its for turning a fob watch into a wrist watch. you put your fob on the 2 clips the winder through the top loop the strap is fixed to the bottom lop and the other end to the bow of the fob watch" My apologies for my unintentionally incorrect description.
