Now this is a famous and very attractive loco and in excellent (and probably near mint condition) condition. It is the Triang Hornby A1/3 class loco Flying Scotsman as produced by the Margate firm in this lovely and rare BR green livery from 1968-1970 only making it very hard to comeby. This example is in excellent condition (better than its real life counterpart!) and has all its buffers and couplings intact. Looking at its sintered wheels I would say this has never been run (as hopefully you can see from the photo) and overall the loco I would term as mint but I know this can be a subjective description. It carries the number 60103 and all its numbers, lining, nameplates and symbols are present and in great order. It is powered by a X03/4 motor which ran when bench tested and for added fun has a working firebox glow. It comes in its original box which is in good order with its outer cardboard sheath present. Overall a truly stunning loco for the collector. NO RESERVE. Have a go. PS see my other Triang and Hornby items I'm selling this week including more rare items.
