This auction is for an unusual and unknown item. I am not sure its origin or its purpose. The item I know is very cool, and very detailed. It looks to be hand carved due to the fact that no two sides are the same and no two eyes or any thing the same on every piece that seems to be stuck onto or meshed together with the wood stick which resembles a cane. I have never before seen anything of its kind, and do not know when it was made. The piece has designed hand carved pieces along a 39" stick with a weird walrus tooth shaped handle, and a rubber foot peg on the bottom of the stick. These are the two things that make the cane more interesting and unkown to me. If it is a tribal cane or spirit stick, then why the rubber end on the bottom, and why the large animal tooth on top for the handle. The stick or cane has what looks like an Indian chief with a very large mouth and teeth and red eyelids with hair stitched around the back of the stick. The head has 6 large teeth with a copper feather headband around the head. The hair is stitched around the back side of the piece and the head has large nostrils that look flared. On either side of the top of the head around the band of feather are gem stones.
