is our tribute to the waterless snow globe in OM SHANTI OM. The supply of these globes is limited, as each one contains parts that we hand craft, hand paint, and hand assemble. The dancing couple moves and twirls by winding the key on the bottom of the base. And thanks to a simple-to-use device (the gold disc-shaped object in the pictures), the couple has music to dance to at the push of a button. The re-recordable sound device on the bottom of the globe (as well as the external one) plays a 10-second recording of music (best are the bits from OSO when Om opens Shantiâe(tm)s present). The additional golden base in the photos also plays the much longer wind-up music box tune that's the same as in the deleted scene from Om Shanti Om's special features DVD when Om talks to his mom with the globe in front of him. Our tribute globe measures 7âe x 5âe and contains NO water; the snow does NOT fall or blow around by itself, but t is loose snow inside the glass, and the coupleâe(tm)s feet dance in it on a gold dance floor (just as they do when the globe comes to life in the film). The globe and the smaller external sound device come in their own gold fabric bags, as shown.
