This is an interesting group of dinosaur fossils from the Hell Creek badlands of southeastern Montana! Included are 7 fossils from Triceratops horridus, each one is a nicely detailed section of frill. The frill is the large shield at the rear of a Triceratops skull. These fossils are quite solid & well preserved. The largest frill sections measure 2 1/4" (58mm) in length. They are from uppermost Cretaceous age (Maastrichtian) deposits, in the Hell Creek Formation, Carter County, Montana on private ranchland. Thanks for looking.
