Description:This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1954 Trifari choker necklace. They named this collection "Mermaid" and it was one of the sets featured in Trifari's 1954 advertisement "She will love you more for remembering her with Jewels by Trifari." T he patent that was eventually granted for this choker necklace patent # 172,512 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on June 29, 1954. It is made up of beautiful clear baguette cut and round rhinestones and faux pearls all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!
