Up for auction is a very rare Trifari Sterling Silver Jelly Belly Brooch. This beauty is an extremely rare find. It was designed by Alfred Philippe who was trifari's most famous desinger. The brooch is made of solid sterling silver, it measures 2" inches in width and 1.5" inches in length. This piece is a very rare 1940 jelly belly. It is signed Trifari with a tall & slim "T" with a crown silhouette above the "T". It is also signed Pat Pend, and Sterling. The finish also shines bright. Jelly bellies were released in 1940 and production continued throughout the 40's. This piece was not a late 1940's piece as this mark was only used in the 1930's until 1940. Many other later varitaions of this spider exist but this piece dates to the first year of jelly belly production. There is no damaged or repaired legs. They are original and fully intact. This 1940 beauty is rare, designer signed, and sure to please. There is no damage to report. Bidding will start low with no reserve. Please email me with questions before bidding
