This car is up for auction as a restoration project. No reserve auctionThe car was bought as a present for my Father in law on his 75th birthday as he'd always wanted a TR7. This was seven years ago and when bought was an MOT'd and taxed vehicle that was on the road. (I drove it back from Abingdon to Guildford) The father in law had plans to restore the car and make it his own however after doing a few jobs on it life has got in the way and its sat in his garage for a few years unloved. He has now decided to sell it on to someone who will appreciate it and put it back on the road. everything is there for the car (complete car) all bumpers lights etc and a spare bonnet. Some of the jobs that have been done are:Both headlight linkages have been removed repaired and regreased so working as they should. The rear axle was removed painted with all new nuts and bolts etcIt has new shock absorbers and springs and rubbers fitted. All the brake pipes have been cleaned up and are in good order.it has a half stainless steel exhaust system.it has an interesting number plate FOX 346VThere is an extensive history file with the car.in my honest opinion this is a good project for someone who wishes to do a light restoration on a classic car.if you are genuinely interested the car can be viewed in Elstead Surrey at any time.no tyre kickers or timewasters. read more
