TRIUMPH TR7 V8 CONVERTIBLE This car was converted to V8 spec in 1992 using a full Rimmer Bros conversion kit including new, genuine TR8 subframe, uprated brakes with 4 pot calipers, twin pipe stainless steel exhaust etc. The springs have been uprated and Spax adjustable shocks fitted all round. The engine was sourced from a Rover P6 and rebuilt by Roverpart international with a Piper cam and an uprated oil pump. The 5 speed gearbox has also been subject to a full rebuild. The body is very solid having been restored a few years ago using many new panels including front wings, door skins, wheel arch repair panels and was bare metal resprayed. I have extensive history with the car and receipts for thousands available documenting all work detailed above. There is also an engineers report signing off the quality of the work done. So, obviously this car drives superbly and sounds wonderful through the twin exhaust system. It has just passed it's MOT and is ready for use when summer arrives. The body work still looks good but is not perfect. There is minor bubbling starting to appear around the offside front wheel arch and around the edges of the headlamp flaps.
