I am selling my sister's Troika vase which she bought as a holiday souvenir when in Cornwall in the 1970s. It is a slightly rounded cube, with the sides and base measuring approximately 3 inches square, plus a neck and rim adding a further half inch to the height. The mouth measures just over 2 inches diameter. I have not seen many examples of this shape. The base is signed 'TROIKA CORNWALL. AJ.' dating the piece to 1976/77 when Anne Jones was working there. It is a typical Troika dark blue with uneven surface and primitive motifs on all four faces - see photos. The base had been covered with felt to protect polished surfaces, and when I removed it, some residue remained but this would probably remove with chemical intervention - I did not want to scrub too hard! There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear that I can find. A very collectable piece which displays well. PayPal only please. Thank you for looking.
