Fatjack's Diesel Smoke & Dreams If you like trucks---You'll love Fatjack's "Truck Stop - 1965" A Truck Photographer's Diary (Mostly Indiana and Ohio ) "Truck Stop" is a photo album on Compact Disc featuring truck photos taken in 1965. The CD has been produced by the original photographer, David A. Bontrager. T are 78 photos featuring household movers, livestock haulers, reefers, tankers, and others. Most of the photos are color, with a few black and white photos included. Each photo is presented in both small and large format, generally 4" and 8" on the longest side of the photo. The large photos will view border-to-border FULL SCREEN . Most of the photos were taken at Fortmeyers Truck Stop in Fort Wayne, Indiana or Mike & Vic's Truck Stop in Stony Ridge, Ohio in 1965, with a few action photos included. The CD photo album is a tribute to the owner-operators of the era who leased their trucks to regulated carriers. Photos of company owned trucks are also included. Section titles include: THE BED BUGGERS This section features a mini photo essay of North American Van Lines , and also photos of Allied Van Lines, Bekins, United Van Lines, and Neptune World Wide Movers.
