(rooted) Eyelashes- brown, (rooted) Baby Janes Reborn Babies Reborn doll artist Jane Evans has studied under the guidance of Master Artist Suzette du Plessis from Petite Cherie Art Reborn Dolls. She has been reborning baby dolls for 7 years. Jane lives in the Northwest with her husband and 3 children. Jane paints the dolls head, body and limbs using a variety of different techniques to give a very realistic skin color. The babies are painted with Genesis Heat Set Oil Paint in many layers and in all the right places. This takes multiple layers of different paints to create the effects of a newborn baby. Reborning involves careful layering of specially blended Genesis artists paint. Genesis paints, once heat set, is permanent. The tiny nails are manicured. The finger and toe nails have been painted a pale pink with a coat of satin varnish, and the tips finished off to give them a just cut look. The hair is micro-rooted using mohair that is baby soft. This process is achieved by using a special needle which locks each individual strand of hair into the vinyl doll body The hair has been sealed from the inside so that you can gently wet and style it.
