TSPTQ Milk Bottle Charlap Dairy Buffalo Hamburg NY TQt Here is a nice tall square red pyroglazed third quart milk bottle from the Charlap Charlap's Dairy dairy farm that once was operated by Mr. Charlap and his family and located in historic Hamburg and Buffalo NY New York. Pyro is different front and back. Front says, "Charlap's Dairy". Back has a nice picture of a milkman carrying a very large bottle on his back and says, "Please Return Bottles Daily". Pyro is complete and bright. This authentic milk bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, chips or casewear. A nice addition for the collector of Hamburg and Buffalo NY New York or Erie Co. County NY milk bottles. I have been told that this is a very hard to find milk bottle from Buffalo and Hamburg NY. One Third Quart milk bottles were used in factories where a half pint was not quite enough to quench a worker's thirst. They were only a legal measure in about twelve states, with NY being one of them. My Policies: Pyroglazed bottles come filled with beads and topped with a genuine original milk botle cap. Cap will be from the same dairy only when available. Embossed milk bottles are sent unfilled, but with a milk bottle cap. Bottles are shipped by USPS Priority Mail from Zip Code 13045.
