TSPTQ Milk Bottle Lake View Dairy Ithaca NY THIRD QUART Here is a nice tall square orange pyroglazed third quart milk bottle from the Lake View Dairies Dairy dairy farm that once was operated and located in historic Ithaca NY New York. Pyro is the same front and back and says, "Lake View Daires Ithaca NY". Pyro is complete and bright. This authentic milk bottle is from 1957 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, chips or casewear. A nice addition for the collector of Ithaca NY New York or Tompkins Co. County NY milk bottles. I have been told that this is a very hard to find milk bottle from Ithaca NY. One Third Quart milk bottles were used in factories where a half pint was not quite enough to quench a worker's thirst. They were only a legal measure in about twelve states, with NY being one of them. My Policies: Pyroglazed bottles come filled with beads and topped with a genuine original milk botle cap. Cap will be from the same dairy only when available. Embossed milk bottles are sent unfilled, but with a milk bottle cap. Bottles are shipped by USPS Priority Mail from Zip Code 13045.
