TT FR 2212-E 1934A $1000 FRN RARE "E" RICHMOUND, VA VERY FINE1934A $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Fr # 2212-E Richmond, VA. Serial # E00026999A and plate # K2/6. Very Fine. This Richmond district thousand is scarce in all grades. A very attractive mid-grade note with no rips, tears or pinholes. Although these high denomination notes were available to anyone who wanted them, they were not, as a matter of practice, to be found in ordinary circulation. They were held mainly by banks and clearing houses and were used to settle large cash balances. President McKinley is centered on the obverse.
