Tufts Silver Plate Inkwell Fancy Filigree Butterflies Ornate silverplate inkwell measures 7 1/2" across the 2 leaves. About 6" from front to back. 3 1/4" tall at twig in back.2 leaves with round tray in front. The leaves each has a small bug. One leaf has a filigree butterfly. Crystal inkwell with beveled edges about 1 13/16 square. The round lid has a matching filigree butterfly. Small twigs hold the inkwell in place. Marked twice on base James W Tufts Boston Quadruple Plate and stamped with number 2873. Underside of lid also stamped 2873. Butterly on leaf has small piece of wing missing. Otherwise no dents or missing pieces. Butterfly on lid OK. Very tiny flake on bottom ede of crystal. White spots are glare from camera. Our items are packed securely in sturdy boxes/mailers.
