This auction is for an Old Tupton Ware honey pot, and spoon, in the now-discontinued 'Bluebell' pattern. A really striking piece, this honey pot shows a lot of Art Nouveau influence. It is very colourful and looks fabulous on display.The design has been tubelined and then hand-coloured. Old Tupton Ware is made to a very high standard. Jeanne McDougall, well-known for her work at Moorcroft, created this wonderful design. The 'Bluebell' pattern has now been discontinued.Boxed; spoon in 'Bluebell' pattern included.The pot is approximately 95mm tall and 71mm across the base.The spoon is approximately 104mm long and 28mm across the bowl.No chips or cracks; it has only been out of the box for the photos.Fully marked as Old Tupton Ware.
