Welcome to my Store Meerschaum is white light mineral that requires careful handling. Meerschaum is a rare rock. It is mainly found in central Turkey around the the town of Eskisehir. Meerschaum is mined from the ground by digging tunnels 10-80 meters below the surface. The stone is heat resistant which is why pipes are a popular choice of item to make from it. As nicotine is absorbed by the meerschaum. the pipe slowly turns to a yellow like color which over time adds value to the pipe.
