TURNED WOOD HOLLOW BOWL (Roundwood Studios) This turned and hollow formed bowl is from the Roundwood Studio of Bernard Hohlfeld in Pennsylvania. As seen in the picture the pattern in the wood (aromatic red cedar) is beautiful. It measures 4" high and 5" in diameter. Signed on the base B. Hohlfeld 12/31/00 Aromatic Red Cedar. Wood turner Bernard Hohlfeld of Roundwood Studio. Bernard makes a large variety of turned and hollow formed bowls, and his newest work has been on bleached spalted maple 'hollow forms' that are masked off and airbrushed with different colors onto each different section. He is also continuing to explore the "Celtic Knot" series of carved intertwining ribbons of surface texture.
