This bear is carved from an awsome piece of Turquoise that has a silver and black matrix! The eyes are inlaid black. A very, very nice carving! Great gift idea! SIZE: This chubby fellow measures just about 2&1/2 inches tall, is about 1&1/2 inches wide across the front and 1 inch from front to back. He is relatively heavy for a fetish. This is a solid piece of turquoise! Condition: NEW This is a Native American one-of-a-kind hand-carved item and comes from the Zuni Pueblo in northern New Mexico (USA). The piece is initialed by the artists on the bottom with their distinctive "VLPQ" and "Zuni". In Zuni tradition, each animal has specific characteristics and powers that may aid the owner of a fetish carved in the image of that animal.
