About the Listing: In the SW prequels, we were introduced to the female Tusken Raiders. Although they were only seen for a few moments on screen, the masks they wore were intriguing and left an impression on many fans - so much so in fact that a very talented prop maker in the south of the USA fabricated these wonderful replicas. Consisting of 21 individually cast resin pieces ingeniously linked together in a rigging of cloth and adjustable metal clips, this highly articulated mask perfectly captures the look of the Tusken Raider women. Hand painted and weathered in an aged brass and copper finish, it measures 23 inches long by 7.5 inches wide. It does not have a head band for wearing as part of a costume, but it would be extremely easy to fashion one - the mask itself it well-sized for adults and the visor allows greater visibility than a lot of halloween masks. Although the original artist is no longer making these, I was so impressed by them at the time that I bought a pair of them. I've had one on display in my study and am continually surprised by how many people compliment me on it even when they are unable to identify where they have seen it before.
