Up for auction is a highly collectible photograph, signed by "TV" Tommy Ivo, which was previously on exhibit at the famed NHRA Wally Parks Motorsports Museum. It shows Tommy leaving the starting line in his unblown single-engine Buick Dragster with front wheels lifting. This was Tommy's first dragster, built by Kent Fuller. The black-and-white photograph measures 16" x 24" and is mounted on foam board. It has a Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back which states: "CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY -- This is to certify that this artifact is of historic nature and has been displayed at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California, Pomona, California" It is signed by Tony Thacker, Executive Director, NHRA Motorsports Museum. It also has a description which states "T.V. Tommy Ivo won Top Gas Eliminator with his unblown single-engine Buick Dragster. He ran an impressive 9.85 for low e.t. on gas. He defeated the Thorkelson and Del Nero Olds-powered entry in the final with a 10.09 at 142.85 mph." This is a great piece to add to your collection! Don't miss this rare opportunity.
