You are bidding on TWO different autographed Cal Ripken Jr. Wheaties commemorative cereal boxes signed in person at the University of Delaware during a "Celebration of Excellence" ceremony in 2005 honoring Delaware's public school educators. Mr. Ripken appeared on behalf on MBNA at the Bob Carpenter Center w he graciously signed several boxes of baseballs and a number of Wheaties commemorative cereal boxes recognizing his incredble streak of 2131 consecutive games. Most of the baseballs and Wheaties boxes were part of my own personal collection, and as the event coordinator, I was able to keep what was not presented that evening, including these signed Wheaties boxes. Each of the two Wheaties boxes are in mint condition with no dings, dents or tears and STILL contain the original cereal inside. These boxes have never been opened. One box is the "no logo" box which appeared without permission of MLB, and the second version has the orio;es and the number 8 on the front. The "no logo" box is the version w the back of the box says Cal Ripken while the corrected version says Cal Ripken Jr. Again, these Wheaties boxes were signed in person and are all in mint condition.
