This is an original 1952 rerelease 11" by 14" lobby card movie poster for the 1942 definitive pirate movie based on the work of Rafael Sabatini, The Black Swan! Pirate action set in Jamaica and the Carribean! This film stars Tyrone Power as Pirate Jamie Warring aka Jamie Boy enlisted by Pirate Captain turned Jamaican governor Henry Morgan, while smitten with the lovely lass Lady Margaret Denby,played by Maureen O'Hara the so called queen of technicolor perfect for this technicolor epic. Plus a great supporting cast including Laird Cregar as Captain Morgan, Thomas Mitchell, George Sanders almost unrecognizable as Captain Billy Leech, Anthony Quinn, and George Zucco! Lobby cards were issued way back when to movie theatres in sets of 8 to help market and promote the film, they were/are very popular! This one is #8, pirate action between Tyrone Power and George Sanders, lobby in fine plus to near mint condition, a few smudges/nits, images are TERRIFIC overall a great vintage lobby card!
