This is a Korean War M-1 Helmet Liner that is painted Aqua Green (or is it Robin's Egg Blue, my wife says Seafoam green), and it has a CD Police decal. It was made by Capac and is dated 1953. The olive drab herringbone suspension is in great shape with no rips or tears. The A washers are black painted steel. The nape strap is an unusual one piece olive drab herringbone material. I thought that all post WWII nape straps were the adjustable variety, but I guess not. The leather chinstrap is WWII issue with a olive drab painted buckle and it is in great condition. I wouldn't try removing it since it is formed so tightly around the rim. T are no cracks in the liner shell and the paint and decal has only a few minor chips.
