ULTRA RARE 1862 $10 LEGAL TENDER EXTRA FINE+ For auction is this ultra rare 1862 Ten Dollar Legal Tender. This is a spectacular example of America's first National Ten Dollar Note. This note is Fr.93 with the signature combination of Chittenden and Spinner. In our opinion this gorgeous rare note is a strong extra fine . This note has a small edge nick. These notes were cut by hand and edge nicks are common. This one does not detract in the overall beauty or grade of this note! It is super crisp with no pinholes or visible folds. It features razor sharp edges, full even margins and excellent color. These notes usually have thin limp paper, but not on this example. It is strong crisp paper!! The color on these are also usually very faded but again not with this example. It shows excellent color and the serial number is even embossed !!
