Ultra rare, Saxon, Jager Officers Sword and Scabbard by WK&C! This knockout, rare sword, is the first one of this type I have had the opportunity to offer! The triple etched blade rates almost mint with a few tiny spots of light pitting near the base(many more pictures are available upon request). The blade is straight, has never been sharpened, and t are no nicks. The blades spine is etched "REGIMENT JAGERS" and the blade is marked "WK&C" and has the King and Knights Head maker mark. The beautiful brass guard and pommel show a slightly darkened patina and retains approx. 50% of its original gold gilt.The guard shows a slight, almost imperceptible amount of movement on the blade. The nickel plated scabbard rates excellent with no dents or dings and shows a tiny bit of light pitting and plating wear. The scabbard retains approx. 97% of its nickel plating.
