PAIR OF £10 SERIES 'D' & 'E' BANK OF ENGLAND BANKNOTES IN PRESENTATION HARDBACK BOOK THESE WERE THE FIRST & LAST NOTES OF THE ISSUES These two banknotes have never been in circulation. They are £10 notes from the 'D'& 'E' series & come sealed in a presentation hardback book They are signed in facsimilie by G.E.A. Kentfield (Chief Cashier) The £10 note *(serial number KR30 999767) is reference number BE165d in 'The Banknote Yearbook 7th Edition' (published in 2011). The book value is £120. This was the last issue of the series 'D' £10 notes The £10 note *(serial number A01 999767) is reference number BE166a in 'The Banknote Yearbook 7th Edition' (published in 2011). The book value is £45. This was the first issue of the series 'E' £10 notes *Note the corresponding serial numbers ending in '999767'.
