Whew, I just barely got this listed by midnight before my eBay promotion expired. I just brought this comic out after years of storage. I'm calling it a VG- though it might look a little better... there is color touch up on the cover, which maybe takes it to GD+? Please look at the pictures and decide.My brother and I purchased this when we were kids from a comic book store on Central Ave in Yonkers... then later we made the poor decision to fill in some of those color breaks near the spine and on the top left corner with green magic marker. As you can see, the marker went through the cover and got to the inside cover and first page. Other than that though, I have to say, we did an OK job. CGC would probably give this a purple label... is there a label for restoration when kids are responsible? Maybe a purple label with gold stars or something?If I could travel back in time, I'd tell the younger version of myself what they always say on the Antiques Roadshow, "don't touch it!!"... "those color breaks are part of the patina!!". Actually if I could travel back in time, a better destination would be that flea market where I got the X-Men #10, see my other listing for that tale.I'm a little loopy because I spent like 16 hours today getting these listings together before the eBay promotion expired.Any questions please ask!
