PRUSSIAN PRIDE Image of Reverse This legendary silver coin was issued by the German Empire in 1901 to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Kingdom of Prussia, founded in 1701 by Frederick the Great! The first three Emperors of the German Empire (William I, Frederick III and William III) were all Kings of Prussia, so Prussia was the heart and soul of the German Empire. Indeed, it was William I who united the German States into one cohesive Empire in 1871 and his grandson William II who led Germany into WW1. Not only is this coin therefore of great historic significance, it is also most remarkable for its unique design, which portrays Kaiser Wilhelm II (Emperor William II aka Kaiser Bill) wearing his trademark Prussian helmet capped by a spreadwing Imperial Eagle !! The Kaiser, whose glowering expression betrays his nationalistic and militaristic mind set, is flanked by his wife Empress Augusta Victoria.* The ornate reverse depicts the crowned German Imperial Eagle. This coin remains in very rare UNCIRCULATED CONDITION!! The coin remains lustrous, and has no scratches, no dings, no dents, no carbon deposits, no grime, and no other problems of any kind. Very rare and desirable this nice!!!! Hold history in your hand as you marvel at the amazing headgear of the King of Prussa and Emperor of Germany, Wilhelm II!! This 2 Mark
