All in very good used condition - all covers have some age/handling discoloration and wear - edge wear, rippling and tears and some spine and corner chipping (please see pictures) - all have minor tears on cover and page edges, the longest tear is 3/4" on No. 2 bottom edge front cover, the rest are all about 1/8" - 1/4" in length - No. 2 has a tear 1-3/8" at the spine front to back and minor creases throughout from having been rolled up at one time - each publication has 16 clean pages (printed both sides) with some minor foxing/discoloration on page edges, not on prints or captions - 11-3/16" x 13-9/16" -A nice pictoral history of the U.S. Navy ships and crews during the Spanish-American War period including Battleship Maine and many others.Historical Fine Art Series - published weekly by Historical Publishing Co., Philadelphia - Uncle Sam's Navy - portfolio of original prints -Vol. IV, No. 1 - April 5, 1898 " No. 2 - April 12, 1898 " No. 3 - April 19, 1898 " No. 4 - April 26, 1898 " No. 5 - May 3, 1898 Sold "AS IS."
