This is an original uncut pair of unissued checks on the Treasurer of the Confederate States, Richmond, 186_. Measures about 8" x 6-5/8" with 4" x 6-5/8" stubs folded behind. Condition is as shown in the enlargeable scans. Less-than-obvious faults, if any, will be noted. This is part of a large collection of historic checks, fiscal paper, historical memorabilia and ephemera that was accumulated by a veteran collector 25-50 years ago.
